Gradie Featherstone returns to Oakleaf Motosport Honda

Gradie Featherstone returns to Oakleaf Motosport Honda.

The 17 year old from Chesterfield has returned to the Oakleaf Motorsport set up for the remainder of the 2015 season aboard the CRF250 machine.
After living and competing in America for the last two years Gradie has returned home and has been racing in the MX2 World Championship and selected other events. Scoring his first world championship points in Qatar, Gradie is looking to improve on this and become a consistent points scorer in the MX2 class aboard his Oakleaf Motorsports Honda.
“I’m really pleased to have Gradie back on board with the team, we worked with him as a rookie before he spent his time in the USA , he’s a great prospect and is really keen to do well. Gradie has great ambitions and we will do our best to make sure he gets great results on board his CRF 250. The season is still young and hopefully we can get him adapted to the bike as soon as possible and ready for the next GP at Valkenswaard . A big thanks to Honda UK, Derbyshire Off Road Centre and Dave Thorpe for the support as well as all our other sponsors, it will be great to see the team back in MX2.” – Shaun Anthony – Team Manager
“After an amicable split with RB Racing Suzuki, Shaun from Oakleaf has giving me a great opportunity to fulfil my initial goals of making strong progression in the GP’s and becoming a consistent point scorer. I’m grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with the team throughout the rest of this season and hopefully I can make good points in the Maxxis British Championship if we can get in.” – Gradie Featherstone.
